Meet Our New Team Member: Nathan Wayne

We first met our new project manager, Nathan Wayne, when he worked in Indianapolis back in 2001. We stayed in touch after he moved home to the Detroit area, and he has collaborated with us on several projects. Now we’re thrilled to bring him on board full time.

Nathan’s love for building goes back—way, way back. “I was a big Lego man in my early years,” he jokes. Taking drafting courses in high school helped him realize that architecture was his true passion.

“I was driven to take as many drafting and design courses as I could,” he says. “I started working with AutoCAD when it was first invented, and I’ve used every single version of AutoCAD since.”

He pursued his passion by studying architecture at Lawrence Technological University. Since graduating in 2000, he’s worked on projects across the country. His impressive resume includes work with the Kroger family of grocery stores, Pilot Flying J, and several public schools.

Project management is a perfect fit for Nathan because he has a knack for working with people. “My favorite thing is the relationships,” he says. “I like helping clients and keeping things organized.”

A father of three, Nathan also loves travel and the outdoors. He hails from Detroit and describes himself as a “big huge sports fanatic.” Now that he’s in Indianapolis, he says he’ll enjoy watching the Colts and the Pacers, but nothing can replace his Detroit teams. The Pistons, Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings will always hold a special place in his heart.
