Technology was a major focus in this space. Exam areas were designed with shared digital x-ray machines, and flat-screen monitors at each chair allow patients to watch DVDs during their visit. The screens serve a dual purpose when the dentist reviews x-rays and records with patients.
Comfort was another key design consideration. We want patients to feel as if they were sitting in their own living rooms. A gas fireplace and plasma TV welcomes them; establishing the tone of the space.
