Construction documents are now in progress for the first building of River Road Shops, a retail center at 146th and River Road in Carmel. Construction is expected to start in early 2014. There will be a total of 58,000 SF of retail space in the development once all three buildings are completed..
Firehouse Subs continues its expansion plans across the country with several new locations being designed by Curran Architecture. Three locations have recently opened or begun construction in central Indiana (Circle Center Mall, Greenwood and Greenfield). Additional locations are in the works in Colorado, Virginia and Missouri. This brings the number of locations of the popular hot sub restaurant designed by Curran to 55.
The Shook Agency is getting a new look and upgrading their office space in downtown Lafayette. Coldwell Banker Shook has worked with Curran previously on design projects for some of the real estate company’s commercial buildings. This new office redesign will include all new finishes and new systems furniture to create a new, more efficient and cohesive workspace for their agents.
Curran has finished spicing things up at twelve Taco Bell locations as part of a rebranding rollout by one of the chain’s largest franchisees. The new Taco Bell renovations feature a more contemporary, streamlined design for the exterior, new interior design/decor and energy-efficient upgrades including LED lighting throughout. Plans for at least another 9 locations are in the works for 2014.
