Every year that we get to attend the Firehouse Subs Family Reunion is a privilege, and this year was no exception. We gathered the Curran team and trekked down to Orlando, where we joined other Firehouse Subs franchisees and partners for the four-day celebration.
While there, we got the opportunity to relax and catch up with a few out-of-state clients, some of whom we’d actually worked with but had never met in person until the reunion. In fact, we met up with our first California franchisee, whose project is just entering the schematic design phase. We pulled up the plans for his project when he stopped by the Curran booth, and he shared his latest thoughts with us before heading into one of the talks. And before the talk was over, we’d made changes based on his suggestions and texted him to come back and check them out.
Maybe doing client work at our trade show booth is a little unconventional, but we know many franchisees are concerned with speed and cost. For them, the sooner they get open the better. They spend a lot of money on design fees and construction, and the sooner they get the drawings done, the sooner they can begin construction, open for business, and start paying back those loans.
Currently, we have ten new Firehouse Subs locations in design and construction phases. We’re already looking forward to next year’s reunion when we’ll get to catch up with the owners of the new locations and possibly collaborate with future ones!
