Rachel brings a wide variety of experience to the Curran team. From space planning, to conceptual design, to construction administration, she’s no stranger to hard work and client happiness. “I love understanding a client’s dreams and needs and then bringing that vision to fruition,” she says.
After graduating from Ball State with a bachelor’s in architecture, Rachel gained a wide array of experience at several local firms before landing at Curran. She’s walked through each and every phase with clients, from concept through construction, and brings a diverse skill set to her current role on our team. She uses the latest technology to develop everything from conceptual renderings to technical drawings. With a passion for space planning, she enjoys creating functional and beautiful spaces for clients. “It’s like fitting a puzzle together so all the pieces work together to form something aesthetically pleasing,” she explains.
Rachel appreciates the open, collaborative atmosphere at Curran where everyone is responsive to new ideas and designs. She feels this kind of synergetic work environment allows fresh perspectives to be created and considered, and clients get the best end result. “There’s no cookie cutter way of doing something here at Curran,” she says. “You can bring any idea to the table.”
As an Indy native, Rachel is proud to be working in her hometown. She looks forward to creating visually stunning work while also serving the functional needs of each client at Curran. When she’s not working, Rachel can be found spending time with her husband and two sons, cheering on the Colts, and camping at Barbee Lake in northern Indiana.
